What is Shared Space?

Shared Space is a one-day event for people considering (or currently) living in intentional Christian community.

By "intentional community" we mean the sharing of resources and living space. But the "goal" of these living arrangements is not merely to have roommates to help pay the gas bills, but to actually slug through life together for a greater purpose. Living intentionally means thinking through everything in life: your ecological footprint, your capacity to exercise hospitality to others, and even your overall assumptions about what "Christianity" might really look like in action.

At Shared Space we will hear from a number of "practioners" (people who are currently living in or leading intentional communities) about the greatest joys, lessons and challenges faced by this lifestyle commitment. You will then have the opportunity to investigate ideas, ask questions, and get into conversations with other people from London and surrounding region who are living or considering this way of life. This is a learning and networking opportunity; a chance to get connected with people in your area who are asking the same questions as you!

Please join the Shared Space Facebook group for further updates!

Who's This Event For?

If you are thinking about community living (or even if you are just mildly curious) this event will give you the chance to ask questions of people who are currently "doing it."

If you are currently living in an intentional community, this day is here to help you nurture and grow both your vision and passion.
